My Trip To Australia During The Holidays

In the two week holidays I jumped on a plain and went to Australia. At first I was surprised because it was my second time going to Australia. I was filled with excitement and I felt emotional, because that would mean that I wasn't going to spend a lot of time in New Zealand for the holidays. The city that I arrived in was Sydney. My mum called my Aunty to come and pick us up. As soon as I saw my cousin I burst into tears. I haven't seen him in two years, also my family always say that we looked a like so they called us the cousin twins. I have no idea what that meant but I just went with it. So when we drove to my Auntie's house a kangaroo jumped in front of the car. I was surprised but then I got use to it because it happens sometimes. When I walked into the house I felt so hot because it was 45 degrees. We enjoy our meal and then me and my cousin stay up all night so that we can sneak back into the kitchen, and eat the leftover K.F.C. that was covered on the table. We stayed in Australia for two weeks, and then we came back to New Zealand. 

Fifth group of NZ troops heading to Iraq

The New Zealand Defence Force troops are ready to go to Iraq. Their is 106 New Zealanders and Australian's are going to head to Iraq in the late May. Brigadier Mike Shapland the NZDF's commander went to Australia last week to tell the troop. That they have to get ready for a deployment that is going to happen in the late May. Their will be a group called the Taji and they have been trained for more than 21,000. It is called the Taji because they have New Zealand and Australia, and they going as under cover Iraq Security. They are have completed their mission from when they began in may 2015.

Robbie Rakete

On Thursday Robbie Rakete came to our school. He came to our school because he is our school role modal. He was very when he was telling us about his and how he doesn't clean his room at home. He also told us about what he does at work and how he was called by one of the wiggles because they wanted him to sine at their censored in New Zealand. Then the next day he called to go to Australia because the wiggles wanted him to hear their song about New Zealand it was not good. So Robbie Rakete had to write a song for them to sing the next time they come to New Zealand. Astersix was his favorite book when he was ten.
