Blueberry Muffins At Tamaki Collage

On Wednesday the year 8 students went to Tamaki Collage for baking class. We got to learn how to make a blueberry muffin. It was fun making it because we got to do it our self's. But we had all of the ingredients with us so that we can star baking. When we got started we went to get our ingredients and then we got started. The ingredients that we had was flour/ milk/ egg/ sugar/ slot/ oil/ yo get. Also we had to the measurements before we put it altogether. To star with we did the dry ingredients which is 2 cups of flour, half a cup of sugar the we mix the flour with the sugar. After that we then got the wet ingredients ready and it had 1 cup of milk, and half a cup of oil. Then we mixed all of it together and we added the yo get, and it made this nice and yummy mixer. After that we put it into the muffin tray, and when it came out of the oven it was nice to eat.

Houses For 2017 Ruapotaka School

On Wednesday we has fun because we were going to do our houses. The was existed because I had want to know what team I was in. So I waited tell it was time to go and line up and off we went to the assembly. The assembly was in the front of room one class. I had wait to long so then it was time to tell us all about what was going to happen and the first thing was. Mrs Vickers told us was the rules that we all had to follow because it will get us points if we do follow the so we did. Now was the time to tell us what group we were in and the group that I have been waiting for came to me I was in the red team we were the best team well that's what I think. When we went to the activate we had limbo first then we had go to the next activate was when we had throw the been bag into a box and if we where go at we would then get 5 points. And we got 5 points in a row is was petty good but I think that we would have done better but it was for that one person. So we got 35 for our points it was very good because we where a tie with the blue team. Oh yeah the four teams where Blue,Red,Yellow, and Green. It was the end of the day and then everyone went home.   

Trip To The Botanic Gardens

Today we went to the Botanic Gardens for a trip and it was hot because of the sun. It was fun when we went into the forest to see more of the flowers that were growing in there. There were lots of flowers that I have not seen before. I liked the rose garden the most because it had lots of rose. I also like the pink trees they make all the photos look good. We had to walk around the Botanic Garden it was hot but I kept on going. We had to go up hills and down hills but I liked taking photos. It was my best job of all job there is. I liked the yellow rose. I hope that we can go back there some other day.    

Native Forest

Native Forest 

When we go to the Botanic Gardens I will like to go to the Native Forest. Because it has all of the native birds and they even sing when theirs people around them. That is why I want to go and vest the Native Forest. I think that I will have the best time their. Seeing the native birds will be very cool and if we see other animals in the forest. It looks fun and it will be very good for a walk. There will be lots of water their.    

Welcome to the Rainbow House

There is this house in London that is a rainbow and you can you can ride a slide right into your living room. This wacky house is on Portobello Road in London and is sure to bring out the kid in everyone. Known as the Rainbow House. The home features a slide that links a bedroom to the kitchen, an incredible, colorful spiral staircase and a rotating bed. I think that this will be good for a family that has lots of many or for a family gathering in London for a Holiday.

Ruapotaka Mini Olympics 2016

On Friday we had a 2016 Mini Olympics at Ruapotaka school. It was very cool because it was the first time that we had the Mini Olympics in our school. We even had a opening ceremony and sang the Olympic song and for the closing we sang the New Zealand National Anthem . The weather was good because it was sunny and  we had some shade near the trees.

Hi everyone this is Meafou I go to Ruapotaka school and we had Ronald McDonald come and visit. He was telling us about safety. It was good to have him come to our school. He was a fun man, he was singing a safety song to us and we liked it. He came in the morning and I came just in time for when my class was going to go in and see the show. He was looking for his sock and he looked for it when he was going to Ruapotaka school. On the way he met Mika and he was the boy on patrols he helped him to cross the road. His message was to be safe all the time, use your seatbelt and look out for sneaky driveways. At the end of the show he said good bye.
