Room 12 Manaiakalani 2017 Film
Yesterday we went to Sylvia Park to present our schools film. Our film was based on rugby values, we were very good at presenting our school. Me and Vaimoana were presenters from Ruapotaka school. We had to present our movie in three different sessions. It was very hard to get to the other sessions because we didn't really know where we were suppose to go. So we ran the whole time till Vaimoana found where we had to present. We were 5th to go up and present in the first session, and in the 2nd session we were 5th up. So the last we were 8th one that we presented in was for Tamaki college. It was a busy day for us and me and Vaimoana were very happy when it was time to go back to school. I gave five autographs and eight photographs to people that I knew.

Sea lion pup shot dead near Dunedin
A critically threatened sea lion pup was found shot dead on the Otago Peninsula on Saturday.Staff from the Department of Conservation (DOC) found the remains of the 11 month-old female sea lion named Rua on a beach near Dunedin. Rua was last seen on Allans Beach in September and made the headlines last summer when her birth was overseen by the local community. DOC Coastal Otago operations manager Annie Wallace says the female was only one of 11 born last summer. The brutal senseless shooting of a defenseless threatened native animal is a tragedy. Rua was one of only 11 sea lion pups born on the peninsula last summer, she says. The impact of her death on the recovery of the New Zealand sea lion is not to be underestimated.
What I Think About This And Why
I think that who ever did this they should have not done this to this poor little baby Sea lion pup . I am very disgusted by whoever did it and I want to know why they world do this I mean what did the little pup do to make this person do this. I am just mad about this because I relay like animals because I grew up with animals.

Ireland Beats All Blacks
The All Blacks have been beaten by Ireland 40-29 in Chicago. The result ends New Zealand’s record breaking winning run of 18 tests victories in a row. The result is the first time Ireland has ever beaten the All Blacks in their 28 attempts. Ireland led 25-8 at halftime and while New Zealand rallied in the second half to get back within four points Ireland, were too strong. The All Blacks captain Kieran Read said he didn’t think the side “turned up with the right attitude. We talked about it all week but when you come into a test match you’ve got to turn up with the right attitude and be physical…they came out and really took it to us and we took our time to react to that and you can’t leave it till the last 20 minutes every week to react.

Organ Donation Bill Hoped To Dncourage Donors
There's fresh hope for a Bill which would provide financial support for live donors and is currently before Parliament. It follows the country's first three-way kidney transplant which allowed three live donors to be matched with compatible recipients. Health Minister Jonathan Coleman says live donors are in short supply. That Bill is going through because we need to make sure that people who are prepared to altruistically donate organs aren't going to be any financially worse off.Dr Coleman hopes the recent three-way kidney exchange, the first in New Zealand, gives hope for live donors, but says the issue of deceased donations needs to be addressed..

Auckland Zoo’s last hippo dies
Auckland Zoo’s last Hippo Dies
It is very sad that the Auckland Zoo's last remaining hippo named Faith died. This is so sad that it might make people cry. The hippopotamus was 41 years old and been unwell for a few days and was put to sleep on Tuesday. Faith had been showing signs of signs of a disease that makes it bleed in the lung. A short statement from the zoo said the disease is a terminal condition and euthanasia was the only option. Faith’s son, Fudge, died in March at the age of 28.Both hippos were born at the zoo Faith in 1975 and Fudge in 1988. The average life-span of a hippo is 40-50 years. The hippo enclosure would remain closed on Wednesday. Image Link

Adams wins silver at Rio Games
In the 2016 Rio Olympics Games and the best Shot Put super star Valarie Adams has won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Michelle Carter from USA won the final with a sensational 20.63.m throw which was too good for Adams, and Carter blew away the competition with her final throw after trailing Adams for the entire competition.Anita Morton from Hungary finished third.
Cooler conditions in Rio mean that throws were generally shorter than expected. Although Adams throw was further than her throw in London 2012
